Winter ONE-derland

One year ago two little snow bunnies came into the world... I was anxiously awaiting their arrival and repeatedly checked my phone for updates. It seemed like forever and for their Mama I'm sure it felt like a lifetime, yet this past year seemed to fly by and here we were picking a party theme.

While Sarah was pregnant, her goal was to bring these babies into January so that they would be full term and wouldn't need a NICU stay. She was successful and had two very healthy January babies! So it was decided that the theme would be Winter ONE-derland with Mommy's favorite color, navy and of course mixed metals. Take one look at her instagram feed and you'll see that as a Stella & Dot Stylist she's pro mixed metals.

We had our theme, colors, and date... It was time to put everything together and CELEBRATE!

At the entrance, Mommy created a milestone board and displayed it next to the favors. Favors were a "snowball" (homemade white peppermint play dough), a cookie cutter, and thank you tags made by TLCB to complete these adorable favors.

The Little Chic Bowtique also took care of the decor, cake topper, Jack's bow tie, and Cate's bow! Decor included high chair banners, a wall banner to display monthly pictures, and 3D snowflakes (Cate and Jack's Daddy helped with these too!)

Food included winter-themed goodies and a delicious cake from Colorful Creations. Snow Mints, snowballs, snowflakes, cold cuts, snowmen cheese sticks, evergreen muffins, melted snow, veggies in snow, and Cate's pine tree were served to big and little guest. No details were spared!

cakes and cookies!
We were so happy that not only were we able to provide the party details for Cate and Jack's party but we were also able to attend and celebrate their BIG day! Happy 1st Birthday, Cate & Jack!
