Maggie Drover, founder and owner of Newfoundlacquer, is a sixteen year old high school student and entrepreneur who created her own line of vegan-friendly and 10-free nail polish. She is originally from Hodge’s Cove, a small community in outport Newfoundland, but is currently residing in Paradise. The concept of 'Locally-Made Nail Polish' was formed in January of 2017, however after months of research and development, the finished product was rolled out in November of the same year.
All of Newfoundlacquer's products are Vegan-Friendly, which means that we do not use any animal products in our polish-making process. All of the ingredients that go into our nail polishes and nail care products are certified cruelty-free as well.
What is 10-Free?
All our polishes are 10-free, which means the ingredients we use do not contain ten of the most harmful toxins commonly found in drugstore nail polishes. These toxins are linked with issues such as skin irritation, endocrine disruption, and reproductive toxicity.
